What is collected

When you use the contact form, Monos-Collective collects your name, email address, any organisation or context and area of interest you choose to provide, and the information in your message. If you make contact by email, the information you include in that correspondence is also received.

How and why it is used

Your information is used only to understand and respond to your enquiry, communicate with you about it, and consider or develop the services you have requested. It is not sold and is not used for unrelated marketing.

Lawful basis

The principal lawful basis is legitimate interests: the reasonable interest in receiving, considering and responding to enquiries about Monos-Collective’s work. Where your enquiry asks for steps to be taken before entering into an agreement, processing may also be necessary in order to take those steps at your request.

Who handles the information

The website is hosted by WordPress.com, operated by Automattic, and enquiry information passes through its systems. Email providers are used to transmit and store correspondence. These providers process information under their own security, privacy and data-processing arrangements. Information is shared with another person or organisation only when necessary to respond to your request, meet a legal obligation, or protect legitimate legal interests.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become a working relationship are normally deleted within 12 months of the last meaningful contact. If an enquiry becomes a working relationship, relevant records are retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the work and for applicable legal, tax, insurance and professional obligations.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights to ask for access to your information, correction or deletion, restriction of its use, objection to processing, or transfer of information you supplied. You may also ask questions about how your information is handled.
